Beryle I. Baker, Ed.D., Founder
Beryle I. Baker is a retired college professor who has served in a leadership position in a variety of professional, community, and faith-based organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
As a volunteer, her diverse endeavors have included serving as a museum docent, PTA vice president, public speaker and seminar presenter, grassroots political organizer, neighborhood newspaper editor, faith-based teacher, and assistant in a correctional institution.
With regard to the ballroom community, she has served on the board of directors for Waltz Play, Atlanta Ballroom Dance Club, and Atlanta Dancesport 6093. In 2012, she penned an article for American Dancer. While Beryle enjoys both social and occasional competitive ballroom dancing, when she is not on the dance floor, she can be found with her six grandchildren or traveling. She has toured every continent except for Antarctica.
